Metal structures marked CE according to UNI EN 1090-1

Come back
Nova supplies metal structures marked CE in compliance with the European Regulation 305/2011 according to the norm UNI EN 1090-1.

From July 1st 2014 the Regulation 305/11 that forsees the CE marking of structural building components will enter into force within EU. The structural components with CE marking will have free circulation within the whole European Union territory. To be compliant with the European Regulation 305/2011 it is necessary to fulfill the requirements set forth by the UNI EN 1090. Nova s.r.l. has ultimated the certification process in respect with the European Regulation 305/2011 according to the norm UNI EN 1090-1 and is therefore able to supply metal structures and carpentry (landing platforms, railings, artistic connections to the building) with CE marking. The respect of the UNI EN 1090 includes what is set forth by NTC 2008 for "Processing Plants" but also adds in detail the obligation of:

  • Traceability of the supply chain
  • Disclosure of the supply contract to the customer in a clear way as far as welding and painting of the structure are concerned
  • Explicitation of the concept of "durability"
  • Non use of toxic substances (Cadmium and radioactive substances)

Important to note that with the UNI EN 1090 "Site Management" has an obligation to make sure that all structural metal items or kits arrived on site are provided with CE marking.

Visit the website INCAS DESIGN for more information on the metal structures produced by Nova.
